Falcon Ridge!

I’m excited to have been named as an Emerging Artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival this summer. I’d like to think I emerged a long time ago, but I like to think of this moment in my musical life as a re-invention. And after applying to this showcase every year since 2007 (except for the COVID years), it’s good to have finally gotten the green light. I look forward to stepping onto the main stage for the first time on July 24. The showcase, which includes 15 artists, begins at noon. This is my favorite little folk festival, and I never miss a year. Hope to see you there.

Also: Thanks to the 229 (!) people who backed my successful Kickstarter campaign for my solo album. I’m looking forward to moving that project along this summer with my producer, singer-songwriter Joe Jencks. In the meantime, Nathans & Ronstadt have a new album, “Esperanza,” coming out July 1 on Bandcamp, and July 15 on streaming platforms. I’m mighty proud of that project, which is already getting some nice airplay on folk radio.
