I still miss Savage a lot. I have lots of dreams playing in a band with him. I really wish we could have retired, and spent some time together. I guess that’s why I dream those dreams.

I finally recorded “The I Love You Heart” last night. The vocals, anyway. There’s a lot of Dale’s spirit on the new album I’m making with Michael Ronstadt.

Today is Jean’s birthday. She would have been 63. She missed Dale more than she could bare and so she believed what she did brought her to where he is. I miss them both so very much. Happy Birthday Jean, you and Dale will never be forgotten.

I put on the CD – Gypsy Life while I’m working in my office this morning and Dale’s beautiful voice singing ‘Finally Here’ comes on and I can’t help but shed a few tears. What a beautiful song. Miss you Dale.
